Kerala has a transgender lawyer, Padma Lakshmi. Padma Lakshmi is a lawyer who was just given a certificate of enrollment to be a lawyer. The state’s industries minister, P Rajeev, shared a picture of Padma Lakshmi on his official Instagram account, congratulating her on her new status as a lawyer.
Mr Rajeev really admires the hard work and determination of the young lawyer. She has faced a lot of challenges, but she has still managed to make a name for herself.
Congratulations to Padma Lakshmi who has overcome all the challenges in life and enrolled as the first transgender advocate in Kerala. It is always the hardest task to become the first person to achieve something, and Padma Lakshmi has written her name into the legal history by overcoming all the obstacles. There will be people who will try to silence and discourage her, but Padma Lakshmi is determined to achieve her goals.

Padma Lakshmi is being praised on social media for her achievements. Joyita Mondal, who became India’s first transgender judge, was appointed a judge in the Lok Adalat of Islampur in West Bengal in 2017.
In 2018, Vidya Kamble became a member judge in a Lok Adalat (legal court) in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Later that year, another transgender person, Swati Bidhan Baruah, was appointed a member judge in a Lok Adalat in Guwahati, India.
