Manish Sisodia And Satyendra Jain Resigned From The Post

Delhi government minister Manish Sisodia, who is facing financial fraud over the leaker policy, and Satyendra Jain, who is already facing several charges and serving time in jail, have created a sensation by resigning from their posts. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party Coordinator Arvind Kejriwal has accepted the resignation of both.

The Supreme Court gave a big shock to Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Manish Sisodia, who went to seek bail in the Excise Policy case, was not only slapped by the Supreme Court but also denied bail. Manish Sisodia’s bail application was heard by a Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha.

The High Court of the country refused to hear the matter and asked Sisodia to approach the High Court seeking bail. AAP leader Manish Sisodia is currently in CBI custody.

The CJI said, you are directly seeking bail and other relief from the Supreme Court. You should go to lower court to get bail. One should go to High Court before quashing the FIR.

Justice Narasimha said, this is the matter of Delhi, it does not mean that you come directly to the Supreme Court. Singhvi said that the Supreme Court is the protector of fundamental rights. At the same time, the CJI asked a question that under which clause does this case fall? Singhvi replied that this case comes under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. So the CJI said, tell the High Court whatever you are saying. We will not listen.
